Carrefour reduces its roof temperature by 38°C

In its commitment to ecological transition, Carrefour has recently adopted our innovative cool roofing solution, Drylast CRWR®, to improve the energy performance of its building located in Sennecé-lès-Mâcon, in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region.

This large-scale project, covering an area of 17,074 m², signifies a strong commitment from the group towards sustainability and reducing its carbon footprint.

Clear objectives and promising results

Carrefour entrusted us with this project with specific objectives. The primary goal is to optimize the energy performance of the building by reducing air conditioning needs.

This initiative also aims to decrease energy consumption to lower operating costs and reduce the carbon footprint, in line with Carrefour's CSR commitments.

The initial results are impressive : the temperature of the roof has dropped by 38°C during the heatwave, contributing to a noticeable cooling effect inside the building.

100% customer satisfaction

The benefits are clear, and customer satisfaction is evident.

Patrick, Head of Maintenance, Security, and Environment at Carrefour, shares: "I am very pleasantly surprised by the physical result of the membrane, as well as the temperature of the roof during the heatwaves. It dropped by 38°C !"

This project, like the previous ones, reflects our clients' satisfaction with our solution. The combination of our technology and technical expertise allows us to achieve the set objectives while meeting the demands of a market increasingly focused on sustainability.
